In January of 2010 A. Toom visited
the Mathematics Research Centre at the University of Warwick (UK)
invited by Robert MacKay and Christian Maes,
participated in the workshops
"Space-time phases for spatially extended systems" and
"Non-equilibrium dynamics of spatially extended interacting particle systems"
and gave two talks
"Substitution operators" and "Solvable and unsolvable in cellular automata".
